Have you noticed fall is here?

The leaves are turning colors, Halloween has just passed. It is time for another season. Los Altos downtown is famous for its fall colors, and it so happens it is also holding a "Holiday Stroll" event this Friday. So we are going in for a Friday evening: fall foliage in the last daylight, dinner together, then the 23rd Annual Holiday Stroll under the lights.

Los Altos downtown is old and beautiful, diagonal and meandering streets. The downtown Holiday Stroll is 5–9pm, with live music, sparkling lights, strolling carolers and shopping specials throughout the village. We’re making a whole evening of it, and you can join at whichever point fits your Friday.

Bay Area is a diverse place, with different enclaves of culture, based on ethnicities, identities, beliefs etc.. Cultural Fridays is meant for people to share their culture & communities, with other culture curious people, and share a meal together, with discussions, mostly on weekend Fridays. So people can talk with each other, expand their horizon, and get to know their neighbors who are socially active. Yes, this is a new format we are experimenting.

🕓 THREE WAYS TO JOIN
1️⃣ Foliage walk, 4:15 PM early bird
Meet at Starbucks, 296 Main St (Main & 2nd). Quick intros, then a walk through downtown’s tree-lined streets before sunset (4:59).
2️⃣ Dinner, 5:15 PM
Meet at the same Starbucks. We’ll split into small tables at nearby restaurants: new faces and real conversation.
3️⃣ Holiday Stroll, 6:45 PM late boomer
Meet at Veterans Community Plaza (Main & State). Lights, carolers, and the whole downtown out together. We’ll mix up the groups so you meet more people.
Come for one part, two, or the whole evening.

🤝 HOW IT WORKS

Small groups, each with a lead, so nobody is left standing alone
Name tags are required; pick one up from your host when you arrive
Short intro rounds at each stage

Free to join; you pay for your own dinner
Downtown parking fills up on Stroll night. Come early, carpool or bike. Parking and getting there are up to you.
Dress warmly; it gets cold quickly after sunset

TownFlame builds social neighborhoods: local crews who keep the town’s social life going between the big events. Downtown Los Altos has a stroll almost every month. If you live nearby and would like to help host future Los Altos Fridays as a neighborhood keeper, tell your host.
