GO: Sociable Repair Cafe Afternoon (Lichfield)
LET'S MIX AND FIX!!
This is a recent community concept for our meetup events, where you can spend an afternoon socializing with other members, whilst getting your broken and faulty possessions looked at by an expert to see if an economical or free repair can be done while you're there. For this event, we will meet in Lichfield, though other locations (such as Bromsgrove, Sutton, Stourbridge, Burntwood) may be possible on other dates).
( Note that the venue may not be open to hold the event in August and December, so please check before going).

What to bring: Examples mentioned include Electrical, household, toys, clothing, laptops, tools for sharpening, though this far from exhaustive.
Suitability: Your items need to be portable and brought along, so be sensible. If unsure whether viable, you can enquire in advance via their facebook site.
Lichfield Repair & Share Cafe plus FREE workshops! | Facebook
Cost: Please make a suitable small donation for work carried out.
Refreshments: The venue has a cafe, for while you wait. We will aim to sit together and mingle, which should be feasible if we all arrive at the start.
Hosting: Collective amongst those attending.
Finding The Group
This shouldn't be difficult as you won't walk into a crowd. But if anyone attending is new (or uncertain of finding others) then our simple suggestion is to bring a sycamore leaf. They're entirely disposable and it's actually fun looking out for those waving a leaf!
