Baton Rouge Shadow Play Behind The Screen

We are getting together for a hands-on session of Baton Rouge Shadow Play Behind The Screen. This is an opportunity for those interested in the art of silhouette storytelling to step behind the screen and experiment with light, shadow, and movement. Whether you have been practicing shadow puppetry for a while or are just curious about how these performances come together, this event is designed as a collaborative space to learn, share techniques, and see what we can create as a group.

There is no formal performance expected, just an informal gathering where we can play with different materials and lighting setups. It is a great way to meet others in the Cast Your Shadows Behind The Screen community and get a better feel for the mechanics behind the screen. If you are interested in exploring this medium or just want to see how it works in person, please let us know you are coming by sending over an RSVP so we can get a sense of the headcount.
