Our monthly open session, and the best way to start playing riichi, the Japanese mahjong played at the world championship.

Never touched a tile? We’ll teach you from zero at a dedicated table, on real competition tiles, and you’ll be playing full hands the same afternoon. Already play riichi, or another style like Taiwanese or Cantonese? Join a game straight away; the rules bridge quickly.

Our regular players will be at every table to help, explain and play alongside you.

A 35 AED minimum spend on food and drinks applies to everyone. Experienced players can also play on the automatic tables for an additional 95 AED per player (VAT included). No fees from us.

New to the game? Message us before you come and we’ll save you a seat at the teaching table. Want to keep playing after today? Ask about our weekly games for players who know the rules.
