Long Beach Vinyl Scouting 101: The Crate Hunt

If you have ever walked into a record shop and felt a little overwhelmed by rows of dusty sleeves, this meetup is for you. We are heading out for a guided afternoon of crate digging in Long Beach, specifically designed for those who are just starting their vinyl journey. The goal is to demystify the process of flipping through records, spotting hidden gems, and learning how to evaluate the condition of a disc before you buy it.

We will keep things low-pressure and social, spending a few hours moving between a couple of local spots to share tips on how to build a collection without breaking the bank. Whether you are hunting for a specific genre or just trying to find your first few essential albums, you will have plenty of support and company along the way. Bring a tote bag, a comfortable pair of shoes, and an open mind. If you think you can make it, please drop an RSVP so I can get a rough head count for the group.
