November Walk at UEA/ Earlham Park

Please join us for our next group walk on Sunday 22nd November. Our friendly group is for people of all ages who have lost their life partners, and want to walk and talk with others in a similar situation who may understand how they are feeling. Our walks provide a safe space to share experiences, coping strategies, and companionship, while enjoying the beauty of nature.

We will meet at UEA ( NR4 7LP) in the main car park by the pay machines. There is a flat fee of £1 to park on Sundays.

We will start the walk promptly at 9am, so please arrive in good time , and do consider carsharing / public transport if possible – thank you.
The walk is a short one this time (as it's November and probably cold and miserable!) It will be roughly 3 miles and should take about 1.5 hours.
It will be muddy so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
There is a cafe nearby should people wish to have a coffee etc afterwards.
As always, the walk is free to attend, but no dogs thank you, and please note that the walk is unfortunately not suitable for people with mobility issues and that walkers take part at their own risk. Please also be aware that we are a peer group for mutual support, and that our events are not led by trained grief counsellors.
