Riverside Vinyl Vultures: Crates for Beginners

If you have been curious about starting a vinyl collection but feel a bit overwhelmed by the stacks of crates at local shops, this meetup is for you. We are getting together at a spot in Riverside to demystify the process of digging for records. We will walk through the basics of how to inspect a used record for condition, how to spot a good pressing, and how to navigate a bin without feeling like you need a degree in music history to find something you actually enjoy listening to.

This is a low-pressure environment designed for anyone who is just getting started and wants to learn alongside others. Whether you just picked up your first turntable or you have a small pile of records you are looking to expand, come by to swap tips and share some finds. We will spend a couple of hours browsing and chatting about what makes a record worth picking up. If you are planning on joining us, please click the RSVP button so I can keep track of how many people to expect.
