Join us for our next Beginner Bird Walk at Fort Caroline on Sunday, November 8, with co-leaders Kate Zeray and Deborah Penrose.

Connect with nature at our local gem of the National Park Service and observe birds in their habitats. From the bird curious to more seasoned birders, everyone is welcome! Check out the eBird birding hotspot for some of the species we hope to discover!

Address: 12713 Fort Caroline Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32225
Meet at the Visitor's Center to get signed in.

Trail details: The Hammock trail is approximately 1.5 miles and is mostly flat with tree roots and some moderate incline. We'll walk at a casual pace with stops along the way. Sturdy shoes and insect repellent is recommended.

Bring binoculars if you have them. We'll have a few pairs available to borrow.
