Speakers from 11 countries and 4 continents — and counting. 15+ sessions, 4+ hours of hands-on workshops. Tickets from €25. AWS Community Day CEE returns to Budapest’s Margaret Island. 🏝️ 🎉 Last year’s inaugural edition brought nearly 300 cloud builders to the island. This year we’re going bigger: a main stage, a breakout stage and a full workshop track running in parallel, plus an expo floor with demos and activities — all day, on Thursday, 17 September 2026. By the community, for the community. 🚀 🌍 Regional roots, international lineup AWS Community Day CEE unites AWS User Groups of Central and Eastern Europe — Austria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine — and brings speakers to Budapest from far beyond it: 🇺🇸 USA, 🇬🇧 UK, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇫🇷 France, 🇫🇮 Finland, 🇮🇱 Israel, 🇬🇭 Ghana, 🇷🇴 Romania, 🇵🇱 Poland, 🇸🇮 Slovenia and 🇭🇺 Hungary. 🎙️ Main stage The (Hype-Free) AI SDLC, as of September 2026 — Opening Keynote by Liam Greenamyre 🇺🇸, Principal Product Manager @ AWS. He’s the PM behind the AWS Agent Toolkit and AWS’s MCP servers, here to show what AI-assisted software development actually looks like today, minus the buzzwords. 5 Steps to IAM Zero — Paul Schwarzenberger 🇬🇧, Cloud Security Engineer @ Celidor Hidden trade-offs in distributed architectures — Anahit Pogosova 🇫🇮, Cloud Architecture & Engineering Lead @ F-Secure Corporation AWS Eventual Persistence: Performing Actions with Deleted Identities — Eduard Agavriloae 🇷🇴, Co-Founder & Director R&D @ OFFENSAI Lessons Learned After Putting AWS DevOps Agent in our SRE Workflow — Mitja Hofer 🇸🇮, Senior DevOps Engineer @ Celtra IAC (Infrastructure as a Context of your AI agent) — Anton Antanovich 🇵🇱, Lead DevOps Engineer @ EPAM Responsible AI in Practice: Operationalizing AI Safety with Amazon Bedrock Guardrails — Faye Ellis 🇬🇧, Author Fellow @ Pluralsight Serverless vs Kubernetes: the final showdown — Davide de Paolis 🇩🇪, Engineering Manager @ Sevdeks/Shine, and Tiago Bilou 🇩🇪, Staff Software Engineer @ XING The Human Latency Problem — Closing Keynote by Meridith Grundei 🇺🇸, Communication Strategist + Experience Director. She created the AWS New Voices Program and coaches the speakers you watch on stage at re:Invent. 🎧 Breakout stage A second full track of community and partner sessions runs alongside the main stage all day — covering AI, security, FinOps and more. New speakers are announced regularly, so keep an eye out. 👀 🛠️ Workshops — bring a laptop Create Your Own Role-Playing Game with Agentic AI using Strands Agents — Arnaud Jean 🇫🇷, Senior Developer Advocate @ AWS AWS Security Agent: Get started with AI-powered proactive AppSec — Andre Baumeier 🇩🇪, Senior Solutions Architect @ AWS Gateway API Isn’t About Ingress Anymore: Building Service Networks on AWS with Amazon VPC Lattice — Claudiu-Cristian Sonel 🇷🇴, Senior DevOps Consultant @ ENDAVA ⏰ Timings, the full lineup and newly announced speakers: awscommunity.eu — the programme is still growing, so check back. 🍲 And when the talks are over… Gulyás, Beers & Good Cheers — the afterparty runs from 17:30 to 21:30 for VIP ticket holders. Proper Hungarian goulash, cold beer and soft drinks, and the conversations that usually turn out to be the best part of the day. 🍻 👥 Who’s it for? Developers, cloud architects, DevOps and SRE folks, security engineers, students, career changers and founders — from first-week-on-AWS to fifteen-years-deep. Every session and workshop is in English. 🎫 Tickets — €25 / €45 / €100 A fraction of what a conference of this calibre normally costs, because it’s run by the community, not for profit. The top tier includes the afterparty. 👉 Get your ticket on Eventbrite ⚠️ Tickets live on Eventbrite — registration via the link above is required for entry. A Meetup RSVP alone is not sufficient. Coming from abroad? Budapest is a short flight or train ride from most of the region, and mid-September on the island is genuinely lovely. Grab a colleague, make a trip of it — we’d love to see you there. 🇦🇹🇭🇷🇬🇷🇭🇺🇲🇩🇵🇱🇷🇴🇸🇰🇸🇮🇺🇦 See you in Budapest! ☁️
