What do Buckingham Fountain, the DuSable Bridge (formerly the Michigan Avenue Bridge) and the Tribune Tower have in common? They are all inspired by structures in France. Laurie Petersen will show us examples of Gallic influence all over Chicago, ranging from mansard-roofed houses to Art Deco skyscrapers. Take a virtual stroll on "Boul Mich" and beyond to see our city à la française.
Free to all. Nonmembers may click here to register by November 9.
