Kuba is a meat filled dumpling cooked in soup, eaten by both Kurdish and Iraqi Jews. Learn to make the dumpling, two different soups that the dumpling is traditionally cooked in, Israeli salad, home made hummus, and malfouf, a nut filled phyllo dough dessert. After cooking together we can eat together. There is a $5 cost to help defray the cost of ingredients.
Class is limited to six participants in addition to the instructor, all meat for class will be kosher. Ingredients include wheat products and nuts.
Note: if there is enough interest a vegetarian version of this class can be scheduled. Please message me on meetup if you are interested in a vegetarian version of the class.
