Our inspiration for the meetups this month will be Harry Gruyaert, the street photographer, who uses colour as the main focus of interest to tell his stories. It is described as :”reality through colour”. His use of colour goes beyond aesthetics.

This week, let's visit Leith Walk. I suggest we use colourful objects as the starting point of our pictures such as clothes, objects in shop windows, cars, shop fronts etc.
However we don’t have to copy his style, just take influence from his work.
We will meet in front of Wex Photo. Nearest tram stop is McDonald Road. We can walk down Leith walk (the most interesting part I think is further down Leith Walk). You can take a bus or tram back up if you like and we will meet afterwards for drinks at Joseph Pearce pub,
Elm Row at around 2 30pm.
