Kurt Vile + Twisted Teens @ The Sovereign

"I wanna walk out into the night
Without it bein runnin' away"

Kurt Vile has had a pretty prolific career cranking out psychedelic stoner jams, and he'll be touring on his new album from this year. I'm not always a big fan of extended guitar noodling, but I did really love his breakthrough, Wakin on a Pretty Daze, back in the day. What really clinched this show for me was seeing that Twisted Teens was opening. Their 2026 album is the best garage punk release of the year and has been on heavy rotation for me. So it should be great show!
