Milson's Point, then Kirribilli picnic (bring own food or buy), markets, walk

Ferry trip to Milson's Point (Ferry station or train station-your choice) and then 5 minute walk to Kirribilli for lunch, markets, walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge and/or Prymont Bridge (Fish Markets stop) and or Anzac Bridge-come to some or all!

This meetup is a combined group meetups- ie Gay Mates and Dates, Gays in Northern Sydney including Manly, Gay Sydney LGBTI, Boys who Brunch- if you have not joined these groups then please do, as they offer many varied events-easy!

Catch the 12.20pm ferry from circular quay with us to Kirribilli to meet up with the gay guys that live in Northern suburbs that go to Kirribilli markets! Ph or text luke once you arrive at circular quay to meet up 0418499490.
Bring your own food or buy at the markets for a relaxed lunch there and our meet-up will go ahead even if raining as we meet undercover at the Markets in the large Burton Street Tunnel, Alfred St, Milsons Point-easy!
Afterwards come home in Kirribilli for drinks and chatting….and if you have time, please stay back for dinner!

The Kirribilli General Markets are held on the fourth Saturday of the month from 8.30am to 3pm, and they are one of Sydney’s oldest and most popular Markets with 220 stalls of new, second hand fashion, antiques collectables, bric-a-brac homewares.

If you enjoy the open bird view from bridges as I do, this is then, after the picnic or take away lunch at Kirribilli (your choice) this bridges walk below is for you!

The walk starts from Milsons Point Station, where we will start walking across Sydney Harbour Bridge. After we get off the bridge, we will head to Barangaroo reserve, Kings Street Wharf, and reach Pyrmont Bridge. We will walk across the bridge, then travel along the coastal line from the Star Casino until we reach Anzac bridge. The foreshore walk is beautiful. We will walk pass Darling Island that has rich history and along scenic Glebe Foreshore park. After we conquer Anzac bridge - walking across the bridge and back, people who want to visit the fish market can leave the group. It is right beside the bridge. For the rest, we will head back to Darling Harbour and finish the walk at Pyrmont Bridge, where we can part our ways and explore the city as we like.

This is an easy walk, mostly flat. We will follow a pace of 4km/hour. We will stop for photography at times.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

You are responsible for your own health and safety. You must also make sure that you don't put other people at risk.
Keep the 1.5m social distancing rule within the group during the entire event.
You are a healthy individual with no symptoms of illness e.g. cough, running nose and sore throat or other underlying health issues etc. If unwell, please stay at home!. .

Please only RSVP if you are 💯% committed to attend. For some reason you’re unable to attend after RSVPed, please change your RSVP to ‘Not Going’ at least 48 hours prior, so that people on the waiting list can take your spot and prepare for the event.
