Sometimes Noteworthy Connections gets out of its usual habitat. Welcome to a Side Quest — a chance to meet up with familiar and new faces while checking out something already happening around Riverside!

📍 Location & Event Info:
We’ll be meeting at Cafe Oro Dos Aztecas on Friday morning at 6:30 AM to tag along with the run club that already meets there.

Important: This is not a Noteworthy Connections run club, and we are not organizing or leading the run. We’re simply showing up together and joining an existing community run. Think of it as a Noteworthy Connections field trip. 😎

🏃 The Run:
The route is approximately 3 miles. Come ready to run, move, meet people, and start your Friday with some good company!

⏰ Meet at 6:30 AM
Since we’re joining someone else’s run club, please arrive on time so we don’t miss the group!

Get moving first thing in the morning alongside an existing Riverside run community.

New & Familiar Faces
Come with the Noteworthy Connections crew while also getting the chance to meet people outside our usual events.

A Different Kind of Connection
No conversation cards. No structured activities. Just running, talking when our lungs allow it, and seeing where the morning takes us. 😂

👥 Who Can Join:
This Side Quest is for individuals in their 20s and 30s who want to meet new people, try something different, and don’t mind waking up ridiculously early to do it.

💬 What to Bring:
1. Comfortable running shoes and clothes.
1. Water if you’ll need it.
1. Your authentic self and a willingness to meet some new people.
1. Enough determination to question why you agreed to be awake at 6:30 AM. ☀️

Our regular events are all about creating intentional spaces for people in their 20s and 30s to connect. Side Quests are a little different: we pick something interesting that’s already happening around Riverside and go experience it together.
