NOMAD RUN for AFANOC Charity (5KM) + Rooftop Hangout

Welcome to 2d edition of our Charity Nomad Run for AFANOC by BDN Community! ------ Date & Time: Saturday, October 10th, 2026 – 11:00 AM ​📍 Meeting Point: La Fabrica & Co, Poblenou ​🎗️ Charity: AFANOC – Asociación de Familias y Amigos de Niños Oncológicos de Cataluña. They support children and teens with cancer and their families. Read more about AFANOC below. ✨ THE RUN: Distance: 5K social run along the beach & Olympic Port + 1x break and group foto ​Pace: Social run, all levels welcome (2x pace groups) ​Start & Finish: La Fabrica & Co in Poble Nou WHY WE ARE RUNNING TO AFANOC? Cancer statistics don't show what's really at stake — a child fighting for their life, and a family rewriting every plan they had. This October we're turning that into action: a charity run where every kilometer raises money for AFANOC. 🧡 WHO IS AFANOC? Founded by parents who refused to let any family face childhood cancer alone, AFANOC supports families from diagnosis onward — including a home, La Casa dels Xuklis, where they can stay together during treatment. We visited last year and saw what that support really means. ❤️ RUNNERS, BUT ALSO NEIGHBORS This run is how our community puts down roots in Barcelona.
