Beyond The Book: Sustainability Discussions (Pt 3)

This event was created by three people exploring sustainability — from science and economics to sociology, philosophy, and even spirituality. We would love to read, learn, exchange ideas, and explore practical actions together. ​In other words, this is a space for curiosity, not expertise. ​📚 This session ​This month, we will be reading Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer — a book by a Native American botanist and professor that explores indigenous knowledge as a complementary approach to Western science to offer a richer understanding of our relationship with the natural world. ​We’ll begin with a short presentation summarizing some of the book’s main themes, and then move into an open discussion. ​To support a thoughtful and well-rounded conversation, feel free to bring articles, videos, or other materials related to the topic. ​💬 Who is it for? ​Have you already read the book?
