Distance about 25 miles
Surface suitable to most bikes (only a short section of fine gravel).No BIG climbs.
Route : takes in cycle path to towards Wallyford park and ride and onwards to Prestonpans. Passing historic points of interest and Athena sculpture.
Return using new Willie Innes Way and potentially Prestonpans back streets, then Musselburgh lagoons. I'll see people back to Holyrood park.
Bring food and drink, plus usual spare inner tube, pumps etc and any tools required to remove your wheel if required.
