From Maple Lake Boating Center to Paw Paw Woods, 4.4 miles

October 8th is forecast to be dry, sunny, and just about 70 degrees; nice weather for a hike in the woods. I suggest you bring some water and bug spray.

We'll meet at the far end of the Maple Lake Boating Center parking lot. It is just south of 95th Street on Wolf Road, on the east or left side of the road. After wel park in the Maple Lake East parking lot, we'll hike over to the Mountain Bike Staging Area on 95th St, then go north, across 95th Street, to the Paw Paw Woods loop, then return the same way to the parking lot,

The Paw Paw Woods loop, aka, the Purple Trail, is 2.4 miles, and the hike to get there is about a mile so this will be about 4.4 miles total out and back on somewhat hilly, natural surfaces.
