GRANTON STATION/WASPS STUDIOS AND AROUND

9 ARTISTS WHO HAVE STUDIOS in Granton Station have agreed to welcome us into the refurbished GRANTON STATION to take pictures of themselves and their work. Apart from the studios, the building itself is photogenic, outside and in. So is the area around, for architecture, and the old GASHOLDER that has been turned into a work of art, with a space for sitting, walking, and playing. Also the works taking place towards Granton’s regeneration.

Since this is west Granton, it is quite a distance from pubs, so I suggest we use Morrison’s Café for coffee and maybe chips afterwards. This would also be a good base if it is cold.

The area will be of interest even if the weather is not so good.

Wasps want a limit of 14 of us inside the building at any one time and for one hour only, but there is no number limit if you want to join us to take pictures in the area.

I told them that we would donate our pictures to the participating artists as we often do in similar venues.
