What happens when a therapeutic approach to understanding our inner world begins to intersect with spirituality?
In this session, we’ll explore Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy—a therapeutic model that views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own perspectives, emotions, and protective intentions. We’ll look at the concept of the Self, the process of building compassionate relationships with our inner parts, and how this approach can support healing and self-understanding.
From there, we’ll delve into Carter’s personal experience of how IFS can serve as a bridge into spiritual practices and experiences, including energy work, healing rituals, intuitive experiences, and communication with discarnate beings.
This is an opportunity to explore the space between therapy, inner work, and spirituality—not necessarily to define what those experiences mean, but to become curious about the connections between them.
Come with an open mind and your own experiences, questions, and perspectives as we explore what may happen when the secular and spiritual begin to meet.
