This week, the students cover:

Gesture, Proportion, and the Big Structural Masses of the Figure.

Materials Required:

Sketchbook or Printer Paper with a Clipboard or drawing tablet (ex iPad + Apple Pencil + Procreate)

Recommended: Bridgman's Complete Guide to Drawing from Life (https://thesecretlantern.com/item/J1fXCQ7UnSN54LjJ5qmiA)

Recommended: Anatomy for Sculptors: Understanding the Human Figure (https://anatomy4sculptors.com/product/understanding-the-human-figure/)

Participants leave with a practical framework for understanding the body instead of memorizing disconnected anatomy facts — and a clearer way to diagnose why a figure drawing does or does not feel convincing.

Recommended Student / Fit:

Adults 18+ who draw, paint, animate, illustrate, design characters, or simply want a stronger understanding of the human figure. Beginners are welcome, though some comfort with basic drawing will help.
