Hello nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts!
This Sunday, let's head up into the hills and join me for a magnificent loop trail starting from the beautiful medieval perched village of Gorbio.
Our target? Cime de Gariglian (1,063 m). This is one of the most stunning hikes in the area, famous for its unique contrast: a pure alpine mountain vibe combined with spectacular 360° plunging views over the Mediterranean Sea, Menton, and Monaco. On a clear day, the panorama from the Cabanelles plateau is absolutely magical!
The trail begins on historic paved stone paths, weaves through pine forests, and opens up onto wide grassy ridges. We will stop for a well-deserved picnic lunch at the summit to soak in the views before heading back down.
