Weston Walks Club: Chew Valley Lake

Let's try and take advantage of the warm Autumn weather and squeeze another hike in 🏞️What To Expect 🏞️ Chew valley lake is a scenic manmade reservoir in the heart of Somerset, with a richly diverse population of flora and fauna. It's a beautiful area, with several hides for bird watching dotted around the shores. 📍Route Details📍 A relatively flat out and back route around the North side of the lake, with a distance of around 7km or 4 miles. Should take around 2 hours. Route details here. 🥾🥪 What To Bring 🥪🥾 Bring sturdy shoes, a thermos of tea (or coffee!) and a packed lunch if you fancy. There's a fish and chip shop on the north end of the lake if you're in the mood!
