Estimated Distance - 5.5 to 6.5 miles - depending on final route - potential for some super-secret parts that to the best of my knowledge have never been offered by any other area group.

Note: Not a Beginner Event - sections of the park have some light elevation

Meetup Location - Hemlock Lake Parking Lot -follow the signs - pass the main office and take the first left -you will see us parked on the right-side lot before the lake. If you reach the lake - YOU HAVE GONE A MINUTE TOO FAR

Please add in some additional buffer time for your AM drive - windy road for the last few minutes before entering the park

Estimated Group Size - 16 to 24- Everyone starts on the waitlist. If you have a history of bailing -you will not make the first 14 spots - Will give preference to those who are part of a carpool - I can take people out of Mt Kisco.

Note: I am seeing an uptick in those that double book -yes, I am a member of multiple groups -not to spy on you but I never want to knowingly post a hike in another groups spot. I am also seeing an uptick in those who simply show up if they did not make the original meetup list. Please do not do this.

Note: - These events in most instances are designed in a specific way - meaning parking considerations - pace - best or optimal group size for that park in order to provide the best experience.

We hike as one group -there are no sweeps - and I generally try to stick to the posted end time barring unique circumstances - (like a Revolutionary War Reenactment with Food Trucks) at the end of a recent event
