The green hills of Sierra Vista should display beautiful wildflowers and great views of the South Bay. But, you'll have to earn it. This will be a BOGO free double loop hike on the Baccardo Loop, Weather Loop, Eagle Rock and Todd Quick trails, totaling 6.2 miles and 1476’ Elevation gain. Fairly steep inclines and declines, and potentially unyielding cows.
Here's the route: Alltrails
Almost entirely unshaded so you will need sunscreen, hats and maybe your favorite hiking stick.
There are no restrooms and not a lot of tree cover, so, plan accordingly.
A 40 car free parking lot but as always carpooling encouraged:

After grinding our way up and down the hillsides of Sierra Vista, we will have earned the right to just walk right in to Dong Que Vietnamese restaurant at 2852 Alum Rock Ave. San Jose, and say "Toi Doi" (I'm really hungry) PLEASE REMEMBER TO MULTIPLY YOUR BILL BY 1.3 (FOR TAX AND TIP) AND TRY TO BRING CASH.

The IOPQ will be : What's one thing that can instantly make your day better?

ATTENDANCE: If you are signed up for a hike, or on the waitlist, please remove yourself to the "not going " list as soon as you become unsure about attending, so another wait lister can have adequate notice that they are going.
