CHANGING TO WHITE SPAR CAMPGROUND!
LOWER WOLF CREEK IS CLOSED!
Get cool in the pine forest of Prescott!
•We will meet at the Prescott National Forest, White Spar Campground on Friday afternoon/evening and plan paddling at some of the Prescott area lakes. Feel free to arrive on Thursday for a really full weekend.
•The lakes include Goldwater (small lake nearest the campground with possible eagle sightings), Lynx, Watson (with the distinctive rock formations called dells) and Willow Lakes. We can easily paddle one lake in the morning and another in the afternoon. There are also hiking trails in the area and the nightlife of Prescott to enjoy.
The fall colors should be in full swing.

•The campground is first come first served with sites for tents or RV's. The only amenities are numbered sites with picnic tables and vault toilets.
No water available, bring your own.
$10/night. Use a National Park pass for discount.
For more information about the area, fire restrictions, etc go to this link:

•Relax in the fragrance of pines with sounds of water on your yaks.
•Fred will be hosting this one since he's a local and available. Thanks Fred!
I hope you can make it! You could use a good paddling!
