Saturday Morning Kayak on the River

This is a nice casual kayak trip. We will start out at Willow Beach and head up toward the Emerald Cave. We will check that out and then come back and stop at the cove right next to the Emerald cave. We will then explore the canyon next to Emerald Cave. Just a bit of scrambling but hiking shoes of any type is fine.

Then we will take our kayaks back down stream to deal with the outfitter crowds to get out. Make sure you get there in time to be ready to start paddling at the event time.

Location: We will take out from the boat ramp rather than the paddle craft area.
What to bring: We are meeting at PST even though Arizona is on MST. The boat shop will be open so if you need to rent a kayak, you can. Bring snacks, food, water, and a hat. Bring some shoes you can hike in.
