Here's another chance to enjoy the Rocket Revellers at The Cambie!
This is a fantastic and high-energy local band well worth seeing in person. They describe their repertoire as a mix of Western swing, rockabilly, country and blues. More band info here. Or check out some Youtube videos. Plus, this date is just a few days before my birthday, so I'll probably use it as an excuse to celebrate that. ;)
Our tables are reserved for 6pm, which will give us some time to chat before the music starts. Based on past experience, I expect the place to start filling up quickly shortly after 6pm. After 6:30, I'll allow the Cambie to use any unfilled seats to seat other customers.
The band usually plays three sets between 7 and 10 pm, but you might wish to leave earlier.
For more info about The Cambie Pub, including the menu, see the Cambie's website. Please note that The Cambie has recently changed the duration of its happy hour so that it ends at 7pm. A bummer, but you can still take advantage of the deals before the music starts.
