The British Film Festival is here. This film Onwards and Sideways has an amazingly talented cast, writer, and director, with interesting themes so I am keen to see it. If it looks good to you too you may like to join me at Palace Barracks next Saturday.
The session starts 3:30pm. I'll be in the level 2 foyer from 3:15pm for hot chocolate and meeting prior. I'll have a small bunch of silver tinsel around my wrist to help identify me.
Tony (Rhys Ifans) is widowed, and the deputy head of a primary school and Emma (Laura Linney) is an American musician and composer. They are complete strangers, until one day an unexpected encounter changes the course of their lives. On the same morning, they both receive a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease. A connection and a friendship blossoms between them.
A comedic drama about connection, courage, and joy, even while facing difficult circumstances.
You can buy tickets in the box office in person and/ or purchase them online (link below)
