Chenies Christmas Walk from The Bedford Arms to Little Chalfont

A gorgeous festive walk up at Chenies Manor to take in the views across the valley from the wide bridleways as we walk to the outskirts of Little Chalfont, down the valley over the River Chess, past the weir, to the other side with even better views, then through the tiny postcard village of Latimer and back down through the charming Baldwins Wood back to the river. Distance 5.6 miles. Walking time approx. 2.5 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there's the option to stay for a chat and a drink at The Bedford Arms, which has a splendid interior and lots of appeal. If you wish to book a dinner at The Bedford Arms for after the walk - I'd suggest 2pm - you can call them on 01923 283 301.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
