💵 A QUICK $1 GAME NIGHT REMINDER

Before we get to the fun stuff, one important reminder: our regular Saturday Game Nights are $1 per person, per night to help keep the group going.

Meet-Up costs us approximately $300 each year, and those small $1 contributions from everyone really do add up and help cover that expense. If you're a regular attendee, please remember to contribute when you come.

Come hang out with us for a relaxed evening full of fun, laughter, good food, and easygoing games!

In celebration of National Sausage & Kraut Day, we're cooking up another evening of games, good company, and plenty of laughs! Whether you prefer your sausage grilled, your sauerkraut piled high, or neither one on your plate, everyone is welcome at our Game Night table.

And just like sausage and kraut, sometimes the best combinations are the ones you might not expect — a little friendly competition, some new faces, and a whole lot of laughter can make for a pretty enjoyable Saturday evening!

Why did the sausage refuse to play cards with the sauerkraut?

Because it was afraid the kraut would turn a winning hand into a sour deal! 🌭🃏😄

Over time, this group has really started finding its own personality. Some people come for the games, others for the laughs and conversations, and many for a little of both. We've built a casual, welcoming atmosphere where regulars and newcomers alike can relax, jump into a game, and simply enjoy the evening without pressure or complicated rules.

But just one hard rule... no political talk please.

(Just south of the intersection of Bearss/Ehrlich and Dale Mabry.)

🕔 SCHEDULE

We'll be arriving a little before dinner, with seating and food starting around 4:45 PM.

🎲 Game playing typically kicks off around 6:00 PM and continues until approximately 9:30–10:00 PM, depending on the crowd and energy.

You're welcome to come early, arrive late, or leave whenever you need — it's completely flexible.

🎲 ABOUT OUR GAME NIGHTS

We're not a D&D or heavy strategy group. We stick mostly to fun, easygoing games. A few people have called us a "Party Games" group — and one of our regulars once said:

"Hard-core gamers might get frustrated, but I loved it."

Honestly, that probably describes us pretty well!

Past nights have included:

Uno, Only One, Yahtzee, Letter Pool, 3Up/3Down, trivia-style games, Sorry, Deer in the Headlights, Rummikub, Ticket to Ride, Sequence, Apples to Apples, Slide, Skip-Bo (Spite & Malice), Exploding Kittens, and more!

🎲 Feel free to bring along a favorite game of your own as well — especially games that work well with 3–6 players and are easy for new people to jump into.

Glory Days is generously giving us a dedicated section at no charge, so please plan to order food and/or drinks while you're there — and don't forget to tip your server(s).

The staff has generally done a nice job working with our group, so let's continue being patient and appreciative if things get busy.

🧥 Glory Days can sometimes get a little cool inside, so if you tend to get chilly, bringing a sweater or light jacket isn't a bad idea.

💬 As always, we ask everyone to avoid political topics so the atmosphere stays welcoming, relaxed, and enjoyable for all.

💵 HELP US KEEP GAME NIGHT GOING — JUST $1

Our $1 Game Night contribution isn't about making money — it's simply how we're trying to cover the cost of keeping the group available on Meet-Up.

The Meet-Up page costs approximately $300 per year, and maintaining it is important because it's not only where our regulars find upcoming events, it's also how new people continue to discover and join our group.

Many of you have been contributing regularly, and thank you — we appreciate it.

If you're attending regularly and haven't been contributing, we're asking you to please start tossing in that $1 each Game Night. If everyone does their small part, no one person has to carry the expense of keeping the group going.

💬 If you attend frequently, ask about prepaying for multiple months at a discounted rate.

One dollar isn't much individually — but collectively, those dollars are what help keep Game Night going. 🎲
