Autumn Watchlist Exchange 🍂🎬

📅 Wednesday, October 21 📍 Ubik Café, Valencia 🕖 19:00 🇬🇧 For this After Dark Social, we’re getting together for drinks, conversation, and a very important seasonal task: building our autumn watchlists. 🍂 Bring 2 or 3 recommendations you’d love to share with the group. They can be things you’ve watched recently, old favorites you think more people should know about, or something that simply feels right for this time of year. 🎬 A movie 📺 A TV show 📚 And, if you want, a wildcard: another movie or show, a book, documentary, anime, podcast... anything you think someone else might enjoy. Horror, sci-fi, thrillers, mystery, dark comedy, cult movies and spooky stories are always welcome, but your recommendations don’t have to be dark or scary. We’ll go around, share what we brought and why we recommend it, and see where the conversation takes us. I’ll collect everyone’s recommendations so we can leave with our own After Dark Autumn Watchlist. ☕ Since Ubik is hosting us in their space, please plan to order at least one drink while we’re there to support the venue. Come alone, bring a friend, grab something to drink and hopefully leave with something new to watch. 🌙🍂 Spanish and English welcome. —————————————————————————— 🇪🇸 Para este After Dark Social, nos reuniremos para tomar algo, conversar y cumplir una misión de otoño muy importante: llenar nuestras listas de cosas por ver. 🍂 Trae 2 o 3 recomendaciones que quieras compartir con el grupo. Pueden ser cosas que hayas visto recientemente, favoritos que crees que más gente debería conocer o simplemente algo que te parezca perfecto para esta época del año. 🎬 Una película 📺 Una serie 📚 Y, si quieres, un comodín: otra película o serie, un libro, documental, anime, podcast... cualquier cosa que creas que alguien más podría disfrutar. El terror, la ciencia ficción, los thrillers, el misterio, la comedia negra, el cine de culto y las historias creepy siempre son bienvenidos, pero tus recomendaciones no tienen que ser oscuras ni de miedo. Iremos compartiendo lo que hemos traído y por qué lo recomendamos, y dejaremos que la conversación fluya a partir de ahí. Iré recopilando las recomendaciones para que terminemos con nuestra propia After Dark Autumn Watchlist. ☕ Como Ubik nos estará recibiendo en su espacio, por favor cuenta con pedir al menos una bebida mientras estemos allí para apoyar al local.
