Discussion: To Pimp a Butterfly

Join us to discuss Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly. The album is ranked in the top 10 of the yet-to-be-released book The Top 100 Albums of the 21st Century. Kyle Anderson of Entertainment Weekly said, Kendrick is "expanding the boundaries of the hip-hop empire and daring other aspirants to the throne...to play catch-up" with its "throwback soul, churning jazz, Sly Stone-style riot funk, front-porch blues, and highly politicized spoken word." The 2015 release ranks as the 4 rap album of all time according to Dave's Music Database. Read more about the album here.
