Most folks go to the woods to get away from the noise and nonsense of daily living. If you must have music bring ear buds or headphones. If you have a need to "PARTY" like it's 1999 or any other year this event is most likely not for you! Thank you for your consideration.

This will be an 16 mile +/- overnight hike from Fire Tower trailhead via the South Loop trail to High Bluff campsite. The hiking pace will be "hike your own hike".

IMPORTANT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: The Richloam South Loop trail passes through several wet areas and may be overgrown and require some bushwhacking for short distances. We wont know for sure the conditions until we get there.

1. Everyone is to meet at Richloam Fire Tower trailhead parking lot Saturday morning no later than 8:00 a.m. I plan to be stepping out by 9:00 a.m. Our first day will cover 9 miles +/- and our overnight destination will be High Bluff campsite.

2. High Bluff campsite has plenty of room for tent camping. Hammock camping may require going out and away a bit from the group.

3. There will be no provisions available for this event. You will be responsible for providing all your equipment needs\, food\, and water. The Withlacoochee River will be our primary water source. Water filtering/purification is highly recommended. Saturday night campfire will depend on wood availability in the surrounding area.

4. Sunday\, plan to step out about 9 a.m. and hike the remaining 7 miles +/- back to Richloam Fire Tower trail head parking lot via the Low Water Loop trail.
