Garibaldi Lake day Hike

Everyone will be waitlisted before going and you must answer the questions. Subject to weather & parking passes. This is not a beginner's hike, you must have average and above hiking experience. Start from Rubble Creek trailhead to Garibaldi Lake and back. Hike start time 9.15am Level - Moderate to Hard Elevation - 800m Distance - 20km Duration - 7-8 hours steady Out & Back. Lunch at the lake. We will try to carpool (share gas+25% wear & tear and any parking costs) from St David's Church (share gas any parking costs). For carpooling meet in the parking lot of St Davids church https://maps.app.goo.gl/agbwKefmmuuYwBWi8 Note you can not park in the parking lot but in nearby streets. It gets busy coming back on Lion's Gate bridge and to avoid the delay we may go/optional to the Squarerigger pub in west van where you can bring your own food from nearby places, they have a great hamburger place next to it. https://thesquareriggerpub.com/ https://share.google/96MfhGSnOhwcf8yIk The weather has been unpredictable and this hike could be cancelled with 48 hours notice It could also be cancelled if the group size is too small, like just a few people. You must wear appropriate attire, boots, rain gear (i.e. waterproof clothing) should we encounter rain. All other hiking essentials are recommended, including water, lunch snacks etc. Poles recommended. microspikes not required. Can get cold at the Lake, bring a fleece.
