Beautiful castles, white cliffs and coastal views: Discover classic Kent coast

Join us for a spectacular coastal walk along one of Kent’s most beautiful stretches of coastline, combining dramatic cliffs, fascinating history and wonderful seaside scenery. We’ll walk along clifftops, visit lighthouses and pass castles, and end up on the famous (albeit somewhat grey😂) Deal Pier In between, we should (weather permitting!) enjoy magnificent sea views, see wildlife (maybe even seagulls in a swimming pool) cross chalk grasslands and pass through the odd picturesque village. As ever, we'll round things off with a drink or two in the traditional Port Arms pub on the seafront. There's even an option to go for a sea dip at the end too - bring a towel and flip-flops! 😊 SUMMARY (all info is approximate!) If the hike is full, and you have messaged us and have changed your RSVP to 'Not going', we will refund you, less the PayPal/Meetup fees.
