🌻Thur 10/15 GENTLE HIKE 🌻 Flying J Ranch Park, 3 miles

Let’s enjoy a gentle hike in the mountains!

We’ll hike the Shadow Pine Loop at Flying J Ranch Park, which is a 2.9 mile loop, with an elevation gain of 321 ft. It’s mostly uphill the first half and downhill the second half, but it’s never very steep.

Plan on a very leisurely, social pace. We’ll take plenty of breaks to enjoy the surroundings and each other’s company.

NOTE WE ARE MEETING AT THE UPPER PARKING LOT, not the lower lot that’s right next to Hwy 73.

(There are restrooms at the trailhead.)
