Vancouver International Film Festival 2026

It's that time of year again! The 45th annual Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) will be running from October 1-11. 160 films, 85 shorts, multiple talks and live events will be taking place at venues throughout the city. This event page is intended to be a hub for people to share festival tips and tricks, comment on particular faves and connect on screenings. Feel free to use the comments or the new chat feature to discuss anything VIFF 2026 related! Like the 90's, Baby series, we've created a google doc you can add your name to for screenings you have booked. If there is a lot of interest for a particular film, we will likely create a separate event page.
