Our last overnighter at Mt Pacifico for 2026

This is primarily a car camping trip but backpackers can join as well!

BACKPACKERS that wish to hike up to the campground via the PCT, trailhead is at the Mill Creek Summit Picnic Area.
Car campers will have plenty of water for you at camp.

MT PACIFICO CAMPGROUND
Camp overnight on a peaceful mountaintop, at 7,100’ elevation.
The campground is FREE, with picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets.
There is no water at the campground.
Wood campfires are allowed.

DIRECTIONS
Drive up to Mill Creek Summit Picnic Area off Angeles Forest Hwy.
GOOGLE FOR DIRECTIONS
Once there, drive up past the fire station and enter the fire road.

Start anytime.
Enter the fire road just past the fire station.
It’s 6 miles uphill on a dirt fire road.
High clearance vehicle required during the last mile to the campground.

ADVENTURE PASS REQUIRED AT MILL CREEK AND AT THE CAMPGROUND.
