This one's Ben's idea, and Ben is bringing the fire pit. We'll find a spot on the waterfront, sit around a bonfire, roast marshmallows and swap stories as it gets dark.
What to bring

Your own dinner and drinks. Bring extra to share if you like; sharing is encouraged.
Something to roast. Marshmallows are the classic, and s'mores supplies are even better if you're feeling generous.
A musical instrument, if you play. A guitar, a ukulele or a harmonica makes a bonfire night.
A camp chair or blanket, and warm layers. It's late October by the water, so it'll be colder than you expect once the sun goes down.

About drinks
Most public parks and beaches around here don't allow alcohol. Plan on non-alcoholic drinks unless I confirm the site allows otherwise when the location is announced.

Coming solo is normal here, and most of the group will be.
