Are you ready for an adventure? Let's explore First Thursday in the Pearl by starting with a Happy Hour glass of wine at Spin the Bottle wine and record shop, followed by a leisurely jaunt to Imperfecta Gallery to check out the newest exhibition by Portland-based artist Davis Wohlford, The Island of Misfit Toys.

From there we will continue by foot (or by street car) to the Crystal Ballroom for First Thursday Crafts & Cocktails, an incredible lineup of local artists, makers, and small businesses for a one-of-a-kind indoor holiday market. Shop handmade goods and unique gifts, grab a cocktail, and spend the evening supporting Portland’s creative community, all while exploring one of the city’s most iconic venues.

Admission is free at all venues.

Here is the approximate itinerary:

5pm-6pm: Spin the Bottle Wine & Vinyl Shop. (I will be there by 4:30pm)
1112 NW Marshall St., Portland, OR 97209. Woman-owned and operated

6pm-7pm: Walk to Imperfecta Gallery, 809 NW Flanders St, Portland, OR 97209. I chose this exhibit for its multi-dimensional, crafty themes. Plus, the gallery is halfway between Spin the Bottle and the Crystal Ballroom! For more information on the exhibit: The Island of Misfit Toys: Art Show Featuring Davis Wohlford

7pm-9pm: Walk to McMenamins Crystal Ballroom, 1332 West Burnside Street, Portland, OR. Sip, shop, and celebrate Portland’s creative community with 75+ artists and makers, delicious McMenamins cocktails, and an unforgettable night of music and art. The event lasts until 10pm, but I will likely be bowing out by 9pm. For more info: Crafts & Cocktails

FYI, the entire route is on the streetcar line, so you are welcome to ride instead of walking if needed.

I am keeping the attendee limit to 10 to keep it intimate and not overwhelm the smaller venues.
