Connect Through Stories A free community gathering for people who believe stories build belonging. No writing experience required Join us for a gentle, guided storytelling gathering where you'll reflect, write, and, if you choose, share your story in a supportive community. This week's theme is: FIRST TIMES 🌱 Prompt: What “first” do you still remember—and why? There is no pressure to share. You are welcome to simply listen, write, and be present. Our workshops often explore autobiographical fiction, a form of storytelling that transforms real experiences into compelling stories while giving you the creative freedom to shape them. WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE Transform painful memories into meaningful stories. Understand yourself through writing and reflection. Build deeper connections through honest conversation. Learn how great stories come from real life. Leave with a story that only you could have written. The session includes a guided prompt, quiet writing time, optional sharing, and thoughtful group reflection. Bring: a notebook and pen (or your phone). Feel free to bring a blanket, snacks, or drinks. We'll be enjoying a relaxed picnic in Turia Park.
