🦊Colorful (Goodwood and Secord Trail)

Park on the side of the road with both wheels off the asphalt.

Our group will leave at the posted time, so please arrive early. Please cancel your RSVP if you can't make it.

How fast, how far? Assume 4.5 km/h for a distance of about 12 km. The route is a "there and back again", so we will finish where we originally start from. The trail is mixed terrain ( small hills & flats ) and will take us through some forested areas to a pet cemetery and around a pond.

If you're running late, or only want to walk half of the hike, we'll be passing by the trail heads for Goodwood and Secord Trails on Concession 3 by about 😁10: 04 am.

Bring water and wear good hiking/trail shoes or boots. Some trail sections may be wet so a change of footwear and socks for post hike comfort are suggested. Wearing layers also helps to regulate heat. Ticks prevail through the seasons … so clothing and repellants are additional considerations.

No formal washrooms on location so it maybe advisable to hold back on a second cup of coffee, but trailside options are always available 😉😄.
