The Brisbane Celtic Festival is returning in 2026! Enjoy the lively rhythms and energy of traditional Celtic music and dancing! 100% Free! Date: Sunday, 11 October 2026 Location: Celtic Nations Monument, Moorlands Park, Auchenflower, Brisbane QLD Time: 9:00am – 3:35pm Join us for a fantastic day of Celtic music, dance, culture, and community at the CCAQ Brisbane Celtic Festival! Live Music Enjoy vibrant local Celtic bands: Moreton Celtic Fiddle Club, Australian Celtic Women, Limerick, and Ishka. Traditional Dance Be captivated by Scottish Country Dancers, Scotia Highland Dancers, and QIA Irish Dancers as they showcase the colour and energy of Celtic traditions. Choirs & Pipes Experience the beautiful harmonies of the Queensland Irish Choir, the stirring sounds of individual pipers throughout the festival, and the unforgettable spectacle of the Massed Pipe Bands. Festival Fun Make sure to enter in the Best Celtic Dressed competition! For the kids There will be a junior kilt and tartan race, and a junior caber toss! There is also a big playground for kids at Moorlands Park! \Parking and Public Transport 𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁. Parking is generally not available near Moorlands Park. How to arrive? Train: Auchenflower Train Station is just a 2-minute walk to Moorlands Park. Bus: Look for buses travelling via Coronation Drive, such as routes 444 or 445. Get off at a stop near Auchenflower (for example, the Wesley Hospital stop). CityCat Ferry: Get off at the Regatta Ferry Terminal. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Moorlands Park, Auchenflower. The Translink public transport website can also be used to find the easiest journey.
