Silent Reading Book Club – Edmonds Library Come unwind with a relaxing afternoon of quiet reading and good company at the Edmonds Library. We’ll meet in the Large Gathering Room, where there’s plenty of comfortable space and natural light. Whether you’re in the middle of a novel, enjoying nonfiction, reading poetry, or listening to an audiobook with headphones, you’re welcome to join us. Date: Sunday, August 30 Time: 2:15-4:15p.m. Location: Edmonds Library (Large Gathering Room) Schedule 2:15-2:45pm– Arrive, grab a seat, and socialize. Chat with fellow readers, share what you’re reading (if you’d like), or simply settle in. 2:45-3:45pm– Silent reading. Enjoy an hour of uninterrupted reading in a calm, peaceful environment. 3:35-4:15pm– Relax or visit with others before we wrap up. What to Bring A book, e-reader, phone, or audiobook with headphones Water, tea, or another non-alcoholic beverage A light snack for yourself, or something to share if you’d like This is a low-pressure gathering—no assigned reading, no discussion requirements, and no expectations beyond enjoying a peaceful afternoon with fellow book lovers.
