Almere Tech 43

Based on vibes: Expertise in the age of AI
If AI can write the code, what makes a software engineer valuable?
At the next Almere Tech Meetup, Tetiana Chupryna will explore how AI is changing software engineering and what that means for human expertise.
Tetiana is a Senior Backend Engineer at GitLab, where she develops tools for developers across security, AI and planning.
As AI takes on more of the coding, new questions emerge. What makes engineering expertise valuable? How will the next generation of developers build that expertise? And how does the role of the engineer change?
There are no clear-cut answers yet. Tetiana will explore these questions from different perspectives and invite us to think together about the future of our field.

The program is as follows:

17.30 Door open, welcome drinks
18.00 Word of welcome by Stijn Sprenkels, serving of snacks
18.15 Lightning talk of Tetiana
18.45 Q&A, discussion
19.15 Networking drinks
20:00 End

Hope to see you all again soon!
