Let’s go swimming at Blue Lagoon!

Let’s all go and explore the Mount Palay National Park in Cavite. I’ll meet you all at 9am sharp in the lobby of the Gramercy Residences, 71 Salamanca Street, corner of Gen Luna and Salamanca Street, Poblacion Makati. There is a lovely little coffee shop just across the street on Gen Luna street if you want coffee/food to go our eat before hand. It’s called Oltre Specialty Coffee (5343 General Luna, Makati City, Metro Manila). Bring a backpack with some snacks for eating by the river and in the car, swimsuit, towel, hat, umbrella, tsinelas or rubber shoes its your choice. We will be walking down a short track from the road to the river that can be a little steep in sections and a little slippery. It’s about 1.5- 2hrs by car from Makati to the national park. I have 5 seats available in my car. I will limit the numbers to 5 unless anyone else has a vehicle and would like to drive as well. Even if the weather is wet and rainy its still a lovely area to explore so unless its a super typhoon, expect that we are going! After passing Cavite and entering the National Park the forest changes to dense tropical rainforest, it’s beautiful in its self. We may see wild monkeys 🐒 as well. We will spend 1-2 hours swimming at Blue Lagoon and waterfalls. There are also numerous other waterfalls to see along the way. After swimming we will go to one of the specialty Bululao restaurants with a view and have lunch there with Karaoke as well. After that we will travel through the famous Kaybiang Tunnel towards Patungan Cove, stopping to see the cove and beach. After that we will head east to Tagaytay for merienda with a view to Taal Lake before the 2 hr trip back to Makati. We’ll share the fuel cost and lunch cost. There is no entrance fee for Blue Lagoon, just a small parking fee. Merienda in Tagaytay is at your own cost. Allow about 400php for fuel share and about 400php for shared lunch cost. Bring your own snacks for along the way and at the lagoon. It’s a big adventure day out but one you’ll always remember! Spots are limited to 5 only so get in quick! Cheers Chris.
