Whether you already love Korean culture or are simply curious to try something new, everyone is welcome. Come alone or bring your friends—our team will help everyone connect and enjoy the evening together! 【Who Is This Event For?】 Everyone is welcome! You do NOT need to be Asian to join. Locals, expats, international students, and travelers in Rotterdam. Anyone interested in Korean food, drinks, music, language, or culture. People looking to expand their social circle and make new friends. Anyone who wants to experience a Korean-style social evening in a welcoming international atmosphere. 【What to Expect & Highlights】 Korean Oktoberfest Experience: Enjoy the lively and social atmosphere of Oktoberfest with a Korean twist. Discover Korean Beer: Try popular Korean beers such as Cass, Krush, and Terra. Their light and refreshing taste makes them a great match for Korean food. Beer-Pairing Special Combo: A special Korean food combo designed to pair perfectly with beer will be available exclusively for this event. Friendly Hosting: The Asian Social team will introduce guests and make it easier for everyone to connect. Relaxed Atmosphere: Come alone or with friends—this is a casual social gathering where everyone is welcome. 【A Special Combo Made for Korean Beer】 To make the evening even more enjoyable, a special beer-pairing combo will be available exclusively for the event. Choose your favorite Korean fried chicken flavor from Sweet Chili, Jalapeño Mayo, or Soy Garlic Chili, and pair it with a Korean side dish such as Tteokkochi, Sotteok, Mandu, or Fried Fishcake. Choose your favorite combination, grab a cold Korean beer, and enjoy a proper Korean-style drinking experience with the people around you. The special combo and other food and drinks can be ordered separately at the venue. 【Discover Korean Beer】 Popular Korean beer brands, including Cass, Krush, and Terra, will be available during the event. Each guest will pay €5 at the venue for their first drink. Additional beer, soju, makgeolli, food, and non-alcoholic drinks can be ordered separately. 【Reservations】 Please reserve your place by clicking “Attend” on Meetup. Capacity is limited to 30 guests. Your first drink costs €5 and is paid at the venue if you don't have ticket. Additional food and drinks can be ordered separately. The restaurant is kindly reserving space for our group based on the number of reservations. Therefore, if you click “Attend,” please make every effort to join the event. I’m Tai, a Japanese exchange student at Erasmus University Rotterdam and the founder of Asian Social @ Rotterdam. After welcoming more than 70 guests to our latest drinking meetup, we are excited to introduce our first themed drinking event!
