Join us for an insightful discussion on how to navigate Edmonton's changing rental market and keep your investment properties performing at their best! Our guest speaker, Andrea Markwart, will share insights into current market conditions, practical strategies to minimize vacancies in a slower market, and tips for choosing the right property manager. Whether you're self-managing your rentals, considering professional property management, or looking to grow your portfolio, you'll walk away with valuable insights to help protect your cash flow, reduce vacancies, and make smarter decisions for your investments.
Andrea Markwart is a real estate investor, licensed property manager, and owner of the Edmonton branch of House of Rosie. With 10 years of investing experience, she owns 35 rental doors, including suited residential properties and multifamily developments. Before entering property management, Andrea spent 15 years in Human Resources, specializing in process improvement, automation, data analytics, and scalable systems. She also previously owned a property maintenance company, which she sold to focus on expanding her real estate investments. After successfully developing systems to manage her own portfolio, Andrea recognized an opportunity to help other investors protect and grow their assets. Following the birth of her second child, she turned her experience and passion for real estate into a business that supports both her clients and her family. Through House of Rosie, Andrea provides proactive, systems-driven property management focused on operational performance and positive tenant experiences.
